Code of Conduct

The Global College of Arts and Science is committed to fostering an academic environment rooted in integrity, respect, and excellence. This Code of Conduct outlines the principles and behavioral expectations that all members of our community must adhere to, ensuring a harmonious and productive educational experience.

  • The students of the college are to conduct themselves on and off the college premises in such a way as to maintain the reputation of the College as well as their own.
  • Every student should salute the members of the teaching staff on the occasion of his first meeting them for the day within the College.
  • On a member of the staff entering the classroom, Students will rise and remain standing till he takes his seat.
  • Every student must wear Identity Card at all times within the campus.
  • The use of cell phones is banned on campus. Students are not permitted to use cell phones at any time or in any place on the college campus. Violation of this rule will be deal with according to government regulation resulting in termination from college.
  • No student shall leave his classroom without permission or until the teacher instruct the class to disperse.
  • Students are advised to cultivate the habit of reading notices posted on the college and department notice boards. Ignorance of any notice thus posted will not be accepted as an excuse for failing to comply with it.
  • Smoking in the premises of the College, spitting, throwing waste paper or rubbish except in receptacles provided for the purpose, are prohibited.
  • While moving from one classroom to another or while dispersing from a class, students should avoid making noise.
  • Loitering or collecting in groups anywhere within the college campus is strictly prohibited.
  • The students should park their vehicles only in the places earmarked for them. The college will not take any responsibility for the loss and damage of any vehicle.
  • No student shall enter the College office, unless expressly permitted
  • Students are forbidden from joining any organization or conducting any meeting in the college or collecting money for any purpose.
  • Under the Tamilnadu Government Rules, the Principal is empowered to inflict fine. With hold attendance certificates, suspend and expel a student, if considered necessary.
  • Ragging is strictly prohibited and is punishable by imprisonment.
  • Students are not supposed to use cell phones – iPods in the college premises.
  • The students are responsible for the equipments / facilities provided in the class room. In case of damage to the property a collective fine will be levied for the entire class.
  • Boys are must follow the proper dress code as prescribed by the college (formal pant and shirt tucked in properly)
  • Girls are must follow the proper dress code as prescribed by the college (formal Chudi with shawl properly)
