The two names Veludaiyar group is synonymous in educational landscape and shriNarayaniNidhi Ltd, Which played an integral part of financial inclusion among rural masses are both headquarted at Thiruvarur. Both of them joined hands to form ‘ShriVidhyaGanapathy Educational Trust’ in 2022. The sole aim of the trust is to bring quality education in affordable price for the rural young generation. It became reality with opening of “ Global college of arts & Science” in Ammaiyappan, Thiruvarur.
Karthikeyan with an MBA degree, hailing from Thippirajapuram, a small village near Kumbakonam, is known for philanthropic services for the welfare of common men, with his flair for business, he initially commenced a small financial firm known as Shri Narayani Town Benefit Fund which has now come to be known as Shri Narayani Nidhi Limited and founded the following growing institutions:
The above two companies have grown to the extent where presently 60 branches of Shri Narayani Nidhi and two branches of Shri Narayani (Kumbakonam) Nidhi Ltd., are fully operationalized and also for Shri Narayani Nidhi Ltd., Shri Karthikeyan holds valid licenses for opening another 42 branches while Shri Narayani Nidhi Ltd., has its Registered Office in Thiruvarur, Shri Narayani (Kumbakonam) Nidhi Ltd. has its office in Kumbakonam.
In memory of his parents, he established a Charitable Trust in the name of Bama Subramanian Educational Trust and Bama Subramanian Memorial Hospital. Shri Karthikeyan’s noble thoughts are reflected in his sincere involvement in upbringing the indigent scholarly students for which he had donated large sums besides his involvement in a well-known School in Kumbakonam viz. ‘Oriental High School’ where he is the General Secretary too.
Further, Shri S. Karthikeyan, who is known for taking more interest in educating indigent and scholarly students, joined hands with Veludayar Group of Educational Institutions which Institution is a hallmark and an icon in and around Thiruvarur, to promote a quality college known as Global College of Arts and Science where he took over the position of General Secretary and with his able and efficient guidance, students are being groomed to stand out in the areas of efficiency, punctuality, discipline, duty, devotion and to come out of the college with the quality education. Shri Karthikeyan believes in hard work and committed involvement thus he practices these qualities in his day today life. Global College of Arts and Science is virtuous in having Shri Karthikeyan as its General Secretary.
K.S.S. Thiyagapari, the elder son of renowned, philanthropist Siva Vadivel Udaiyar, founder of “Meiporul Primary School and Veudaiyar Educational Institutions”, Thiruvarur. Shri. K.S.S. Thiyagapari possesses the qualities of excellence and simplicity. As a chairman of Veludaiyar Educational Institutions & Global College of Arts & Science has multifaceted responsibilities in uplifting the standard of education especially besides assisting indigent student in their educational excellence like a relentlessly he funded more educational institutions in and around Thiruvarur which earned him the title ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ in the delta region.
